Tyrol in the 70s

Posted by
daniela (Berlin, Germany) on 4 November 2012 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

In the 70s my family became addicted to Tyrol, Austria, especially the Stubai Alps.
My mum had a friend there who had a small hotel near Fulpmes with her husband, and for the next 10+ years we spend our summer holidays there, mountain climbing and hiking.
The shot above was taken by my grandfather Erich out of the front window of a bus from the Brenner-highway.

The mountain you see is the Serles, 2.717 m, also known as King Serles, and the first thing to see out of the window of the small hotel.

Please respect my work.
