The classic view from St Mark´s basilica back in 1979 ;)
The beautiful Venice series by Kiwisa and the amazing redfilm works by Magrat inspired me both to grab all the old photographs my father did in Venice on our trip in 1978.
All the pictures turned red by the time and I think this is pretty charming. Instead of reinstalling the original colours after/during scanning the prints (the negatives are long gone...) I enhanced the red tones and cleaned up dust and scratches.
The shape with the rounded edges is the original photopaper, that was actually very hip at that time ;) I used a black plastic fake leather writing case and I loved it as backbround.

I did over 6 GB of macro shots over the long garden weekend but I´m unable to work with that amount of pictures right now - need a liitle distance to my pictures, so i chose a tribute to my father series, with Venice 1978 as main subject.
In 1979 my father shot with the dear old Pentax Spotmatic, which is still in excellent condition btw. Sadly, my father died before I got knee-deep into photography, I think he´d liked it.

Sorry, a lot of text today, but I also have to apologize to all my online-friends for being such a louzy commentator atm - I don´t know what it is, can´t think straight, time flies and everything happens simultaneously...
love, Daniela
Please respect my work.
