beauty in decay

Posted by
daniela scharnowski (Berlin, Germany) on 30 March 2010 in Abstract & Conceptual and Portfolio.

I made an abstract series on this weekend - no insects around, cold, wet, grey skies and got caught by some flowerpots with last year´s leaves. Was playing a lot with my macro lens: out of focus, partly in focus. The fun part was the surprising warm and inexspected colours that old agapanthus leaves showed.

Maybe you like them =)

I´m sorry guys for not answering the last days, this daylight saving time we have since sunday is killing me, I´m tired the whole day and fall asleep int he afternoon - what I don´t do normally..... I have the theory that the whole dst is an initiative of the coffee industry, but sshhh...

edit: I´m very new to this twitterthing, but if some want to stay in touch with me there:
