the bridge of spies

Posted by
daniela scharnowski (Berlin, Germany) on 27 December 2009 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio.

The Glienicker Bridge - connecting Berlin and Potsdam - out of the car and infrared.
The name "bridge of spies was invented by the press, Russia and the US exchanged their spy prisoners there a few times during the cold war.
The border between the 2 Germanies was right in the middle of that bridge, weird, he?!

I´m a little tired of winter shots at the moment and I´m going through my picture folders to be surprised by shots I forgot completely about ;)
